6. King James had many enemies the Roman Catholics attempted to assassinate King James in 1605 in what is known as the Gunpowder Plot.
Which brings us into the time period of the translation of the Holy scriptures to what we know today as The King James Version Bible.

Time Period of Translation: 6years from 1604-1611

The Roman Catholic religion was against the translating the Bible into the language we now today English. One of the Chief men against the translation of the bible was Popery.

King James Died on Sunday, March 27, 1625 at the age of 59, after having caught a tertain ague that led to a stroke.

After King James’s death Sir Anthony Weldon (1583–1648) was an English 17th Century courtier and politician. He is also the purported author of The Court and Character of King James I. Anthony Weldon, had to be excluded from the court. Weldon swore vengeance. It was not until 1650, twenty-five years after the death of King James that Weldon saw his chance. He wrote a paper calling James a homosexual.

The Basilikon Doron is a book of advice to his young son.It was originally printed privately in 1599 in edition of only seven copies.

Some advice he wrote his son was “there some horrible crimes that ye are bound in conscience never to forgive, such as witchcraft, willfull murder, incest (especially within the degrees of consanguinity),sodom. poisoning, and false coin.”

Also if King James was gay would we find these scriptures in the bible we read today? just to name a few.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10King James Version (KJV)
