What is a Jubilee year according to scripture?
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
This is a Sabbath to the Lord, in the 7th year it is a Sabbath of rest unto the land. You were to live simply, on what the fields had produced in the sixth year and whatever grew spontaneously.
Also Jubilees is a year of release
13In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.
14 And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
15 According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
Liberty was proclaimed to all Israelites who were in bondage to any of their countrymen
1At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Lord's release.
3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release
Introduction page to Jubilees...
"The Book Jubilees, or, as it is sometimes called, "the little Genesis", purports to be a revelation given by God to Moses through the medium of an angel("the Angel of Presence,"), and containing a history, divided up into jubilee-periods of forty-nine years, from the creation to the coming of Moses. It is largely narrative based upon the historical narratives in Genesis and Exodus, interspersed with legends(myth, fairy tale). It claims to be a revelation, and not a mere exposition of Genesis and Exodus"
Now just cracking the book open at the introduction page it is essentially stating that this book if made up of historical narratives based off of Genesis and Exodus. In that exact same sentence this book is letting you know that it has legends interjected here and there throughout the book. The word legends means myths, or a fairy tale. When using the Holy Bible you must go AS IT IT WRITTEN. On the first pages the book of Jubilees is telling you that this is not a book inspired by The Most High.
Other books that are named and referenced in The Book of Jubilees
*Chronicles of Jerahmeel
*The Book of Enoch
*The Lost Apocalypse of Noah
*The Samaritan Chronicle
*Testament of the 12 Patriarchs
*Book of Levi
*Apocalypse of Abraham
The Holy Bible gives warning in scripture to anyone who goes into many books to seek understanding
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making of many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh
Does The Book of Jubilees match up with scripture? Let's see...
Contradictions w/ the weekly Sabbath
7Six days wilt thou labour, but on the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it ye shall do no manner of work, ye and your sons, and your men-servants and you maid-servants, and all your cattle and the sojourner, also who is with you
8 And the man that doth any work on it shall die: whoever desecrateth that day, whoever leith with his wife
Where in the Kings James 1611 Bible does it say that you cannot provide due benevolence unto your wife on the Sabbath? The answer is nowhere, the scriptures actually call on you to fulfill that commandment
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency
6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
12 And every man who doth any work thereon, or goeth a journey, or tilleth his farm, whether in his house or any other place, and whoever eightieth a fire, or rideth on any beast, or travelleth by ship on the sea, and whoever striketh or killeth anything, or slaughtereth a beast or a bird, or whoever catcheth an animal or a bird or a fish, or whoever fasteth, or maketh war on the Sabbaths
Fasting on the Sabbath(Day of Atonement)
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
War on the Sabbath
40 And one of them said to another, If we all do as our brethren have done, and fight not for our lives and laws against the heathen, they will now quickly root us out of the earth.
41 At that time therefore they decreed, saying, Whosoever shall come to make battle with us on the sabbath day, we will fight against him; neither will we die all, as our brethren that were murdered in the secret places
Contradiction with the Doctrine
Abraham dies with his grandson Jacob laying on his chest
15 And Abraham loved Jacob, but Isaac loved Esau.
16 And Abraham saw the deeds of Esau, and he knew that in Jacob should his name and seed be called; and he called Rebecca and gave commandment regarding Jacob, for he knew that she (too) loved Jacob much more than Esau.
17 And he said unto her:
My daughter, watch over my son Jacob,
For he shall be in my stead on the earth,
And for a blessing in the midst of the children of men,
And for the glory of the whole seed of Shem.
Completely usurping the authority of the prophecy given(Genesis25:22-23/Romans9:11-12)
18 For I know that the Lord will choose him to be a people for possession unto Himself, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.
19 And behold, Isaac my son loves Esau more than Jacob, but I see that thou truly lovest Jacob.
20 Add still further to thy kindness to him,
And let thine eyes be upon him in love;
For he shall be a blessing unto us on the earth from henceforth unto all generations of the earth.
21 Let thy hands be strong
And let thy heart rejoice in thy son Jacob;
For I have loved him far beyond all my sons.
He shall be blessed for ever,
And his seed shall fill the whole earth.
1 And he placed two fingers of Jacob on his eyes, and he blessed the God of gods, and he covered his face and stretched out his feet and slept the sleep of eternity, and was gathered to his fathers.
2 And notwithstanding all this Jacob was lying in his bosom, and knew not that Abraham, his father's father, was dead.
3 And Jacob awoke from his sleep, and behold Abraham was cold as ice, and he said 'Father, father'; but there was none that spake, and he knew that he was dead.
4 And he arose from his bosom and ran and told Rebecca, his mother; and Rebecca went to Isaac in the night, and told him; and they went together, and Jacob with them, and a lamp was in his hand, and when they had gone in they found Abraham lying dead.
Did Abraham ever meet his grandson Jacob according the Bible?
7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre
10 The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
According to the Holy Bible, Abraham dies and then his son Isaac intreated the Lord because Rebekah his wife was barren
20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
21 And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
Jacob, Abraham’s grandson was not born until after the death of Abraham.
It is plain to see that Rebecca wasn't even pregnant before Abraham died. Abraham could have never met his grandson Jacob according to the scriptures.
The Bow in the sky after the global flood, the covenant between God, Noah, and every living creature is the reason for celebrating Feast of Weeks/Feast of First Fruits in it's season pg62
15 And He gave to Noah and his sons a sign that there should not again be a flood on the earth.
16 He set His bow in the cloud for a sign of the eternal covenant that there should not again be a flood on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth.
17 For this reason it is ordained and written on the heavenly tablets, that they should celebrate the feast of weeks in this month once a year, to renew the covenant every year.
Where in the 1611 does the Feast of First Fruits have any correlation to the bow TMH set in the sky during the time of Noah?
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the Lord.
13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.
17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the Lord.
Fallen Angels came down to earth and slept with women
1 And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them sons and they were giants.
2 And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and birds and everything that walks on the earth -all of them corrupted their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually.
6 And against the angels whom He had sent upon the earth, He was exceedingly wroth, and He gave commandment to root them out of all their dominion, and He bade us to bind them in the depths of the earth, and behold they are bound in the midst of them, and are (kept) separate.
Look at the wording in verse 1, how slick! The "angels of God", we'll see if this is in The Book of Genesis. The confusion behind the doctrine of Fallen Angels sleeping with women is always in reference to one scripture.
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding, therefore I hate every false way.
Precept MUST be upon precept(Isaiah28:10)
Remember Christ said The Scripture cannot be broken(John10:35), meaning NO contradictions
25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 And last of all the woman died also
28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
If Christ said Angels do not marry, nor are they given in marriage how could angels come down and sleep with women?
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
So in Genesis6, who are the sons of God that were sleeping with the daughters of men?
Jesus gives his lineage all the way back to Adam. This is the last verse…
38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the Son of God.
10Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
The Sons of God are nothing more nothing less than the chosen lineage of God. Being referred to as the Sons of God before Jacob came and his name was changed to Israel!! The chosen people of God were taking women of the other nations for wives. For the Israelite man and woman, that is a sin in the eyes of the The Most High God
1 When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
2 And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son
4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
The Entire seed of Canaan eradicated
20 Be thou ware, my son Jacob, of taking a wife from any seed of the daughters of Canaan;
21 For, owing to the transgression of Ham, Canaan erred,
And all his seed shall be destroyed from off the earth and all the residue thereof,
And none springing from him shall be saved on the day of judgment.
Did Isaac say this to Jacob according to scripture?
1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughers of Laban thy mother's brother.
Where in this passage do you see Isaac telling Jacob not to take a daughter of the Canaanites for a wife because their whole seed would be removed out of the earth?? One nation alone has the special privilege of being wiped off the face of the earth without a trace, and that is the Edomites(the so called white man Obadiah1:18). Canaan will always be a serving
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
In fact, the seed of Ham will be one of the nations serving captivity under the Israelites in the Kingdom to come.
They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Jacob never wrestles with the angel for the blessing of the name change to Israel
16 And on the following night, on the twenty-second day of this month, Jacob resolved to build that place, and to surround the court with a wall, and to sanctify it and make it holy for ever, for himself and his children after him.
17 And the Lord appeared to him by night and blessed him and said unto him: 'Thy name shall not be called Jacob, but Israel shall they name thy name.
18 And He said unto him again: 'I am the Lord who created the heaven and the earth, and I will increase thee and multiply thee exceedingly, and kings shall come forth from thee, and they shall judge everywhere wherever the foot of the sons of men has trodden.
19 And I will give to thy seed all the earth which is under heaven, and they shall judge all the nations according to their desires, and after that they shall get possession of the whole earth and inherit it for ever.
20 And He finished speaking with him, and He went up from him. and Jacob looked till He had ascended into heaven
Again why is this account so different in the Holy Bible?
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there
Abraham and Jacob celebrate The Feast of Tabernacles
21 And he built booths for himself and for his servants on this festival, and he was the first to celebrate the feast of Tabernacles on the earth.
25 And he celebrated this feast during seven days, rejoicing with all his heart and with all his soul, he and all those who were in his house, and there was no stranger with him, nor any that was uncircumcised.
27 And he blessed and rejoiced, and he called the name of this festival the festival of the Lord, a joy acceptable to the Most High God.
28 And we blessed him for ever, and all his seed after him throughout all the generations of the earth, because he celebrated this festival in its season, according to the testimony of the heavenly tablets.
29 For this reason it is ordained on the heavenly tablets concerning Israel, that they shall celebrate the feast of tabernacles seven days with joy, in the seventh month, acceptable before the Lord -a statute for ever throughout their generations every year.
30 And to this there is no limit of days; for it is ordained for ever regarding Israel that they should celebrate it and dwell in booths, and set wreaths upon their heads, and take leafy boughs, and willows from the brook.
31 And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of goodly trees, and every day going round the altar with the branches seven times [a day] in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his God for all things in joy.
Jacob also celebrates Feast of Tabernacles and adds 8th day to it because of the name change to Israel
16 And on the following night, on the twenty-second day of this month, Jacob resolved to build that place, and to surround the court with a wall, and to sanctify it and make it holy for ever, for himself and his children after him.
17 And the Lord appeared to him by night and blessed him and said unto him: 'Thy name shall not be called Jacob, but Israel shall they name thy name.'
21 And he saw in a vision of the night, and behold an angel descended from heaven with seven tablets in his hands, and he gave them to Jacob, and he read them and knew all that was written therein which would befall him and his sons throughout all the ages.
22 And he showed him all that was written on the tablets, and said unto him: 'Do not build this place, and do not make it an eternal sanctuary, and do not dwell here; for this is not the place. Go to the house of Abraham thy father and dwell with Isaac thy father until the day of the death of thy father.
26 And he went up from him, and he awoke from his sleep, and he remembered everything which he had read and seen, and he wrote down all the words which he had read and seen.
27 And he celebrated there yet another day, and he sacrificed thereon according to all that he sacrificed on the former days, and called its name 'Addition,' for this day was added and the former days he called 'The Feast
28 And thus it was manifested that it should be, and it is written on the heavenly tablets: wherefore it was revealed to him that he should celebrate it, and add it to the seven days of the feast.
29 And its name was called 'Addition,' because that it was recorded amongst the days of the feast days, according to the number of the days of the year.
I hope you brother and sisters see this and are not deceived. The Feast of Tabernacles was not established until the Israelites as a nation came out of Egypt and were dwelling in the wilderness. Again, if all this happened why is it not written down into Holy Bible? There is no scripture that supports this legend, or shows Abraham and Jacob celebrating Tabernacles.(Leviticus23:39-43). This is not close to staying AS IT IS WRITTEN. What this also does is if you are not paying attention, you could fall into Paganism. Abraham could not have celebrated Tabernacles, and even if he did Abraham was a friend of God, he was righteous. Leviticus23 says absolutely nothing about putting wreaths on your head or going around the altar 7 times a day. Let's read it again
Paganism intertwined with Feast of Tabernacles
30 And to this there is no limit of days; for it is ordained for ever regarding Israel that they should celebrate it and dwell in booths, and set wreaths upon their heads, and take leafy boughs, and willows from the brook
31 And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of goodly trees, and every day going round the altar with branches seven times in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his God for all things in joy
This is nowhere in scripture
39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Placing wreaths on peoples heads was an Ancient Greek custom. When the Olympics occurred, those athletes who won their “respective sports”, a common practice was to place a wreath upon their heads. Wreaths were dedicated to Gods like Zeus, Apollos, Ceres, Dionysus, Nike
Nike Goddess of Victory
